Tomorrow's News Today reports that  Mezza in Oak Grove will close Dec. 31.

The family owned and operated Lebanese small plates restaurant was greeted with critical accolades after it opened in 2001, with AJC critic John Kessler awarding it two stars and adding it to his "Critics Choice Top 50" in 2004, calling it "a real charmer."

More recently, the restaurant became an under the radar destination and was consolidated into a smaller storefront space in the Oak Grove shopping center area that's also home to Oak Grove Market, The Grove, and Taqueria El Vecino, among other restaurants and shops.
