Dine, dance and celebrate Passover.
City Winery Atlanta's founder Michael Dorf will host the first annual Freedom Seder featuring a Passover Seder dinner with Ricky McKinnie from The Blind Boys of Alabama, Israeli singer-songwriter David Broza and more in throughout an all-star, festive evening.
Guests of the Freedom Seder will be seated at family-style tables with traditional Passover place settings including a Seder plate and Matzah. Performers, who will be seated with guests throughout the room, will creatively expound on various sections of the Passover Haggadah (Seder text), which will be specially developed for the evening. Additionally, all of the customary traditions will be followed including drinking of four glasses of wine, discussing the four different children, reciting the four questions, and eating a Kosher-style meal, which will be prepared by City Winery Atlanta's executive chef Jeffrey McGar.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 17 at City Winery Atlanta. Tickets, which are $100 - $145, may be purchased here.
