We love a little friendly competition, and we especially love when it benefits a good cause.
This year, three Atlanta chefs will duke it out in the kitchen, "Iron Chef"-style, to benefit Meals on Wheels Atlanta, a non-profit organization that prepared and delivers home-cooked meals to low-income seniors.
Chefs Jason Hall of Hampton + Hudson , Rusty Bowers of Pine Street Market and Timothy McGee of Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse will create an appetizer, entrée and dessert with ingredients donated by the Peachtree Road Farmer's Market.
The event, emceed by Chef Nick Leahy of Saltyard , will be judged by a panel that includes AJC food editor Ligaya Figueras.
