Indulge in a Puerto Rican Parranda, a festive dinner featuring cultural favorites. Thursday, Nov. 29: Kick off the holiday season by watching the lighting of a Christmas tree on a rooftop, sipping on hot cocoa, nibbling on homemade cookies and enjoying a live performance by the Georgia Boy Choir at Murphy's beginning at 5:30 p.m. Santa will also be on-site and guests with their own cameras can take complimentary photos.

Thursday, Nov. 29: Swing into the holiday spirit with a traditional Puerto Rican Parranda, complete with cultural dishes such as gandules y lechon, pasteles, yuca fritters, cuajitos and gandinga; drinks; and Christmas carols with traditional instruments beginning at 6:30 p.m. at El Super Pan at The Battery. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased here.

Friday, Nov. 30: Head to Alpharetta for a special five-course dinner featuring charcuterie with duck prosciutto, spiced lamb ribs and lobster steamed buns all paired with whiskey from Japan's Suntory to Atlanta's ASW Distillery beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Ray's at Killer Creek. A seat at the table will be $85 and reservations, which are required, can be made by calling the restaurant.

Sunday, Dec. 2: Enjoy brunch faves, a hot chocolate bar, photos with Santa and local vendors selling an assortment of gifts from noon to 4 p.m. at Hampton + Hudson's holiday market. Beginning at 3 p.m., four-legged friends are invited to a doggie mingle where they can take photos with Santa Claws. Proceeds from purchases of the Puppy Love cocktail will be donated to charity.
