Head to Midtown this weekend for a special garden event filled with authentic cultural flavors from international chef. Gunshow and Better Half chefs will team up for an exclusive six-course dinner this week. Thursday June 21: Chefs Joey Ward of Gunshow and Zach Meloy of Better Half will partner to present a six-course meal with wine pairings with cocktails and snacks beginning at 6:30 p.m. following by dinner at 7 p.m. at Better Half. The meal will include burrata, roasted trout, smoked duck breast and more. Tickets, which are $125, can be purchased here.

Thursday, June 21: Golden Eagle in Reynoldstown will launch its happy hour offerings, a mix of $5 food such as crispy chicken skins with habanero sauce and a four-cheese plate with baguette plus $7 cocktails ranging from Manhattans to Moscow mules, from 5-7 p.m. The happy hour specials will be available in the restaurant or on the patio and will be available weekdays henceforth.

June 23 – 24: The Atlanta Botanical Garden will host a Refugee Recipe Celebration , where international cooks will prepare traditional dishes from their country and culture in the Outdoor Garden from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Free with paid admission.

Sunday, June 24: Second Self Beer Company will host a special meet and greet to support the launch of Khonso Brewing 's Indiegogo campaign to help raise money to build the new company from 4-7 p.m. Founded by three friends — Kevin Downing, Corby Hannah and William Teasley — Khonso's launch will include Standing Peachtree, a fusion blond/pale ale, and Excelsior, a fusion of red/strong ale. Free and open to all.
