These days, you can find “on-demand” in almost every outlet: on-demand television, on-demand meal ordering, on-demand updates from friends…

How about on-demand coffee: roasted and delivered to you within three days of your order?

That's what THRIVE Farmers' new BLOOM collection is.

THRIVE Farmers Coffee, an Atlanta-based farmer direct specialty coffee company, introduced the BLOOM collection to the market in December 2014. THRIVE Farmers is now roasting in their Roswell facility, so they can have green coffee roasted and delivered on-demand.

"Introducing the Bloom collection takes THRIVE Farmers to the boutique level of the coffee market," said Tracy Allen, THRIVE Farmers chief coffee officer and incoming president of the Specialty Coffee Association of America. "These farmer-direct coffees, carefully crafted from exclusive microlots, offer the coffee aficionado personalized and truly unique small batches of coffee."

For any coffee snob, this takes the flavor to the next level, as your coffee is fresh from the roast. The Slo-Dry collection features two Costa Rican coffees that are roasted according to the Columbian three-tiered coffee drying process. Instead of stopping the drying of coffee, much how the conventional drying process ends, SloDry utilizes airflow and natural temperature fluctuations to control the drying process. Yes, it's slower (hence the name), but the sugars develop more for a naturally sweeter, full bodied coffee.

The BLOOM coffee collection offers single-origin coffees from Brazil, Costa Rica, and Guatemala, and ordering is only available on THRIVE Farmers' website. Consumers may sign up online for each roast on a weekly basis.
