La Luminari Pop Up

On Dec. 14, chef Whitney Otawka will join fellow Top Chef contestant chef Eli Kirshtein at his American brasserie, The Luminary , renaming it La Luminari for the evening. The pop up will feature the Mexican-meets-Southern flavors Otawka showcased at the recently shuttered Cinco y Diez in Athens. The four-course prix-fixe menu will include items such as pork belly nachos, mole poblano with crispy duck, and esquites with Florida sweet corn and Cumberland Island shrimp. $45 per person with a portion of the proceeds donated to The Giving Kitchen. Seven Lamps Cotton Ball

Also on Dec. 14, Seven Lamps celebrates its second anniversary, dubbed "The Cotton Ball." Chef Drew Van Leuvan has assembled an all-star lineup of Atlanta chefs to join him in a special seven course dinner with wine and cocktail pairings, including, Hugh Acheson, Bruce Logue, Guy Wong, Hector Santiago, Ryan Smith and Zeb Stevenson.
