The staff from Tabla, Amara’s  sister restaurant in Midtown, is now working in the Amara kitchen, which has led to some menu updates including the additions of more traditional dishes such as curries. Popular dishes such as the Brussels sprouts ‘bhel’ and the octopus will remain on the menu.

In addition, the restaurant is now serving lunch from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesdays-Thursdays and Noon-3 p.m. Saturdays. The lunch menu features Indian wraps and curry bowls under $14. Sunday brunch is also being served from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., featuring a mix of traditional and Indian brunch items.
