2017 Farmer Fund Calendar

No, it's not the Sports Illustrated swimsuit calendar, but there is a lot of bare flesh on the pages of the 2017 Farmer Fund Calendar . In this newly released calendar, some of Atlanta's most popular chefs, including Ryan Smith of Staplehouse , Hugh Acheson of Empire State South and Hannah Chung (pictured) of Simply Seoul pose with area farmers who grow their food. Proceeds benefit the Farmer Fund, a nonprofit that supports local farmers in the face of natural disaster. $30 online, and $20 at the following Atlanta restaurants: Buttermilk Kitchen, Pine Street Market, and Wrecking Bar Brewpub.

Pure Bliss Organics Sprouted Cinnamon Raisin Granola

Marietta-based food company Pure Bliss has us smiling with its organic bars (chocolate peanut butter, in particular), bites and nuts, but the granola is what's got us grinning. Among the nearly dozen different flavors, we love the new sprouted cinnamon raisin granola. This gluten-free granola offers great crunch from sunflower, pumpkin and sesame seeds and the lingering flavor of cinnamon. Pure Bliss peanut butter banana granola and its honey almond version tie for a close second. $7 for 10-ounce bag. Available at the following farmer markets: Acworth, East Point, Emory, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw, Marietta Square, Morningside, Peachtree City, Peachtree Road and Tucker.

Oliver Farm Green Peanut Oil

It's not surprising that Oliver Farm green peanut oil won a 2016 Good Food Award. The taste of pure peanut shines in this delicious, golden colored artisanal oil. We're especially enjoying the bold flavor (and added health benefits) of this cold-pressed oil as a finish atop Asian stir-fry dishes. $8 per 8.4-ounce bottles. Available at Strippaggio, Emory Point, 855 Emory Point Drive, Atlanta, 404-963-5921, strippaggio.com.
