Little Bee Project Honey

Get a taste of terroir with honey from Atlanta's backyard beekeepers. Little Bee Project collects honey from 50 hives located in the city and surrounding communities. Each jar is marked with a number that refers to the apiary where the nectar was gathered. We're currently enjoying No. 1025, made by busy bees in East Atlanta. Look also for honey from Chattahoochee Hill Country, Tyrone and McDonough. $7.50/8-oz. bottle, Joseph and Co., 925 Garrett St., Atlanta. 404-228-6033, athomewithjoseph.com.

Icelandic Provisions Skyr

You're familiar with Greek yogurt. Now get acquainted with Icelandic skyr (pronounced skee-er). This low-fat, high-protein dairy product made with heirloom cultures is thick like Greek yogurt, but creamier in texture and without the tang. Icelandic Provisions skyr is made using milk from Iceland's oldest farmer-owned diary co-op, which feeds its cows a mainly grass-filled diet and abstains from using artificial growth hormones. Try skyr plain, or go sweeter with vanilla, three Nordic-inspired varieties – strawberry with lingonberry, blueberry with bilberry, and peach with cloudberry – as well as its newest fruit flavors of coconut and raspberry. $1.69 to $1.99/5.3-oz. container, Sprouts, 1845 Piedmont Ave. N.E., Atlanta. 404-751-0605, Sprouts.com.
