Thursday, Dec. 1: For a Christmas tree lighting, photos with Santa, live music, holiday activities, treats, and more, head to Vinings Jubilee for the annual holiday celebration from 6-8 p.m. The Santa Express Train will be in session and Santa will pose for photos and take note of children's holiday wishes. This year's activities will also include balloon twisting, cookie and ornament decorating and face painting. Free food, beverages and goodies will be provided by Another Broken Egg Café, Coldstone Creamery, Guaco Joe's, Mellow Mushroom, Paces & Vine, Soho and Stockyard. The entire event will be free and open to all.

Thursday, Dec. 1: Second Self Beer Company will host a party featuring a costume contest, food truck, games, prizes, music and more from 6-9 p.m. in support of Movember, an organization that addresses men's physical and mental health needs. Tickets are $20 and include six samples of beer and a souvenir glass.

Saturday, Dec. 3: Friends and families will be able to enjoy a pancake breakfast and deliver their Christmas wish list to Santa Claus at 11:30 a.m. at Osteria 832 . Tickets, which may be purchased here, are $25 per person for all ages and will include breakfast and the Santa meet-and-greet. Additionally, at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Dec. 10 the Grant Park location of Doc Chey's and will host Santa and helpers. All ticket sales will be donated to historic Virginia Highland Fire Station 19 and Grant Park Fire Station 10 to help repair and renovate the respective stations.

Sunday, Dec. 4: Have you been naughty or nice? During the sixth annual children's holiday party, all guests will be able to decorate gingerbread cookies, take photos with Santa and his reindeer, listen to holiday music and sip hot chocolate from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Southern Art . Sunday, Dec. 4: Gather the family for a gingerbread house workshop at Davio's from 12-4 p.m. The little ones can create and sculpt gingerbread houses with tasty decorations and enjoy afternoon snacks.
