Oct.9 - 31: To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen will offer daily dine-in specials, contests, giveaways and more at all locations. On Sundays and Mondays, diners can dive into half price Gulf Coast oysters for $6.95 per dozen. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the seafood platter will be half price, making it $13.45. Thursdays and Fridays, guests can enjoy two one-pound live Maine lobsters for $29.95. Saturday, Oct. 8: Second Self is turning two, and to celebrate, the brewery will host an anniversary party featuring 22 special beers on draft in the taproom from 1-6 p.m. Guests will receive a souvenir 2-pack and glass to take home. Food from Pine Street Market will also be available. Tickets are $32 and $42; the latter is for VIP access, which includes an earlier admittance time of noon.

Sunday, Oct. 9: Celebrate the Pride parade with brunch, banging beats by DJ Yvonne Monet and more beginning at 11 a.m. at Livingston Restaurant + Bar . A seat at the table, which is different from Solange's new album, will cost $28. VIP tickets, which include a drink and guaranteed terrace seating, is $75.
