Looking to take a break from city living for a few hours? Chefs from some of the most high-profile restaurants in Atlanta aim to help you this weekend at the 15th Afternoon in the Country held at The Inn at Serenbe.
The Nov. 8 event will pair chefs from restaurants including Aria, Canoe, Seed Kitchen & Bar, The Optimist, Rathbun's and Gunshow with area farms including Athena Farms, Springer Mountain Farms and Wrecking Barn to create tasting dishes, served alongside wines and microbrews.
The event will also feature live music, cake raffle, hayrides, children's activities and a silent auction.
The event, which serves as a fundraiser for the beneficiaries of Atlanta Les Dames d’Escoffier International, a group promoting the achievement of women in hospitality professions, will also be the pilot event for Zero Food Waste Initiative.
