Atlanta's newest craft brewery, Scofflaw Brewing Co. launches today with a tap takeover at 5 p.m. at Ormsby's on Howell Mill Road , and many more beer tasting events at metro bars and restaurants scheduled through July and August.
Located at 1738 MacArthur Boulevard N.W., adjacent to Crest Lawn Cemetery, Scofflaw was founded by owner Matt Shirah and brewmaster Travis Herman.
Since 2014, Shirah and Herman have been developing a portfolio of beers using a laboratory to cultivate several local yeast strains. On offer so far, Basement IPA, Slim the Pale Ale, Sneaky Wheat and Westside IPA.
