Atlanta Brunch Fest in Midtown and more metro Atlanta food events this week

Get your brunch on at Atlantic Station. Celebrate your womanhood with food, drink and fashion specials at Avalon. There are several fun food events happening in metro Atlanta this week, so add one or all four to your calendar. Be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand time.

Tuesday, March 6: Ladies Night Out at Avalon will feature food, drink and shopping specials from 5-9 p.m. Here’s a snapshot of the deals: Get 50 percent off bottles of wine and $2 draft wines at Barleygarden Kitchen & Craft Bar; buy one, get one free from the taste and share menu at Cru Wine Bar; complimentary wine and light bites at Lululemon; select $5 martinis at Marlow's Tavern. Saturday, March 10: Love to brunch? Head to Atlanta Brunch Fest to celebrate—you guessed it—brunch! The event will feature local restaurants serving tasting size portions of brunch faves as well as beverages, inclusive of Bloody Marys, mimosas, beer and wine. Live music and a DJ will round out the festivities. The event will be held at Atlantic Station from noon-4 p.m. Admission tickets are $20 and $25 at the door the day of the event; VIP tickets are $79 in advance. Food tastes will be $3 (paid directly to the vendor) and drinks, $5 - $8.

Saturday, March 10: Second Self Beer Company will host its annual Girl Scouts cookie event featuring four beer tasters and four cookies from noon-5 p.m. Cookies will also be available for purchase. Tickets are ​$12 each and can be purchased here.

Saturday, March 10: Taste and compare off-the-mainstream-channel beers from more than 20 craft breweries during The Prado Taco Mac ’s Secret Stash Bash. Session one will take place from 1-3:30 p.m.; session two, 4:30-7 p.m. Tickets are $40 per session or $70 for a VIP ticket which will grant guests access to both sessions.
