Looking for some romance this Valentine's Day or beyond? One site says two Georgia restaurants are among the top eateries in the country where love is in the air.

Restaurant reservation site OpenTable has released its list of 100 most romantic restaurants in the U.S., as determined by 12 million verified OpenTable diner reviews collected between Dec. 2016 and Nov. 2017. All restaurants with a minimum “overall” score and number of qualifying reviews were included for consideration. Qualifying restaurants were then scored and sorted according to the percentage of reviews for which “romantic” was selected as a special feature.

The list of winning restaurants spans 32 states, with North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia topping the list.

The Georgia restaurants to make the list were Babette's Cafe in Virginia-Highland and Frog Hollow Tavern in Augusta.

Babette's, which opened in 1993 at 575 N. Highland Ave. NE, serves up a menu of French dishes with other European influences including mussels steamed with white wine, strawberries and Serrano peppers, filet mignon with Gorgonzola sauce and tobacco onion rings.

Frog Hollow Tavern features new American cuisine with a large wine selection.
