SZA announces first arena tour, Atlanta stop included

Fans got the album, and now they’re getting the full SZA experience when she goes on tour next year!

SZA will be performing on arena stages for the first time — 17 times in total. The S.O.S. North American Tour will kick off in Columbus, OH, on Feb. 21. SZA will be making stops in cities like Detroit, Toronto, Washington, New York, and our beloved Atlanta on March 7 at State Farm Arena.
The tour is affectionately named after her newly released sophomore album, which I have to say is one of my favorite albums to date! Clearly, I was not alone in this thinking, as it’s been five years since SZA dropped an album, and yet the early signs are that fans believe it was worth the wait. The album dominated Spotify and Apple Music charts over the weekend, with features like Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers and Travis Scott. With no physical release, the majority of the album’s first-week numbers will mostly come from streaming, but the previously released singles “Good Days,” “I Hate U’ and “Shirt,” which all landed on the Billboard Hot 100 top 20, are a great indication of how the total package will do.

SZA won’t be hitting the stage alone – she’ll be joined on the Live Nation-promoted tour by Grammy-nominated singer Omar Apollo.
This might be more of a personal note, but if you haven’t listened to the album yet, you should absolutely give it a listen so you can be ready to sing your heart out during the tour. My favorites are “Snooze,” “Gone Girl” and “Open Arms.”
So now is the important part – when and how can you get your hands on tickets?! You can grab your presale tickets now, and general public tickets go on sale Friday (Dec. 16) at 12 p.m.
