MTV’s ‘Buckhead Shore’ official trailer and cast revealed

Get ready to add another Atlanta based reality show to your list of things to watch!

Taking a page out of Jersey Shore and Floribama Shore’s book, MTV is hoping to strike gold again, this time in Atlanta. Not only is Buckhead Shore officially happening, but the official trailer and cast has been revealed.

“The shore franchise heads to Buckhead, Georgia to follow the interpersonal lives of a group of friends making a name for themselves in the ‘Beverly Hills of the South’ as they escape their everyday life and head to the lake shore to let loose,” the MTV press release said. It seems the ‘shore’ in ‘Buckhead Shore’ has stirred up confusion on social media -- questioning the geographical accuracy of the show as there isn’t a real beach in Buckhead. Lake Lanier has been a popular speculated shot location as it’s about 50 miles from Atlanta.

So, whose faces are going to be representing Atlanta when Buckhead Shore takes over our television screens? Well, the show features Parker Lipman, whose family owns the Zaxby’s chicken fast-food chain, as he hosts his group of friends at his family’s lake house. His friends include JuJu Barney, the son of the owner of world-famous strip club Magic City, Katie Canham, Lipman’s ex-girlfriend, Savannah Gabriel, Lipman’s girlfriend, Adamo Giraldo, Bethania Locke, Pat Muresan, Chelsea Prescott and DJ Simmons, the son of Grammy-award winning music producer/song-writer Daryl Simmons. We’ll get a front row seat into their lives as they head to the lake for their annual summer getaway.
