Last week was a big one for proponents of STEM. Computer Science Education Week, from Dec. 7-13, was a way to highlight careers in computer science to students. Some tech businesses and nonprofits used the week as an opportunity to put on Hour of Code events, while others held open houses to bring tech workers and students together.

One such event held in Austin was the Student Startup Crawl, put on by Globaloria and Makersquare, which allowed some area high school students to visit Capital Factory and Capital Factory Studios, Makersquare, Own Local, and Altassian and to connect with staffers from Globaloria, Penpal Schools, School Links and Upswing.

Here’s a few photos from the Startup Crawl provided by Globaloria.
