If you consistently don’t get a restful night’s sleep, it may be time to check those late-night eating habits.

For example, if you consume dark chocolate even six hours before bed, you may be having a harder time falling asleep.

Eating foods high in protein before bed will also make it harder on you, because protein stimulates a chemical in the brain that will keep you up.
