If one of the models strutting the New York Fashion Week runways looked familiar, your eyes weren’t playing tricks on you.

It was Jeremy Meeks, the #prisonbae whose "hot" mugshot went viral a few years ago. He has officially traded his prison getup for some high-end threads.

Since being released from prison, he’s shifted his focus entirely to the fashion industry, appearing in shows for designers including Philipp Plein.

Want to know know more about the felon with the killer good looks? Here are five quick facts.

1. He’s American.

The model was born Jeremy Meeks and is from Stockton, CA.

2. He’s a husband and father.

Meeks is married to Melissa Meeks. Together they have a five-year-old son. He also has a son from a previous relationship.

3. Altogether he’s spent about 11 years in prison. 

He previously was behind bars for nine years for grand theft auto. Then in 2014 - when his mugshot broke the internet - he was sentenced to two years for illegally possessing firearms and ammo, carrying a loaded firearm in public and criminal street-gang activity. He was released about a year ago.

4. He’s signed to a popular talent agency.

The blue-eyed beau, who stands at 6-feet tall and weights 170 pounds, landed a deal with White Cross Management while still in prison.

5. He’s worked with major fashion brands. 


So far, the 33-year-old, who has more than 800,000 followers on Instagram, has worked with Givenchy, Tom Ford, Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana.
