More restaurants than ever before are open for dine-in and takeout on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, catering to all kinds of folks: those who want to avoid the stress of cooking, those who don’t celebrate the holiday, those who have to work and those who simply want to treat themselves.
Whether you’re looking for a take-home pizza bundle, wine delivery or a place where you can dine in for a nice meal, here’s a list of restaurants in the Atlanta area that are open and ready to serve Christmas dinner this year:
Take-out options
Thanks to Double Zero’s specials, Christmas Eve dinner just got a whole lot tastier. Guests can choose from chicken parmesan, pizza party meals, shrimp bucatini and more.
This Candler Park barbecue restaurant is offering takeout Christmas ham and turkey feasts with holiday sides with the option of adding the Fox family’s special Texas cheese log.
Chinese food is always a welcome alternative to traditional Christmas fare, and the General Muir is celebrating the day before Christmas with a special Christmas Eve Eve Chinese menu this year — available for dine-in and takeout.
This Buckhead restaurant offers both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals for takeout.

St. Regis restaurant Atlas will serve a three-course prix fixe menu on Christmas Day, with options such as poached cod, grilled veal chop and more. Enjoy the regular bar and restaurant menu, as well as Christmas Day food specials, in the hotel’s Garden Room. Reservations are required.
Celebrate a swanky Christmas Eve at Bar Margot at the Four Seasons Hotel in Midtown. The restaurant will offer a four-course prix fixe menu featuring french onion soup, yuletide greens, prime rib and a decadent gingerbread trifle. There will also be a vegan four-course prix fixe menu.
Watch chefs prepare a meal right in front of your eyes on the hibachi grill as you celebrate the holiday Benihana style. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner on Christmas Day and it is encouraged to make a reservation.
Enjoy tacos, enchiladas and margaritas at Botica during regular business hours on Christmas Day, where patrons can dine indoors or on the heated patio.
On Christmas Day, El Ponce will open for regular service and serve a special holiday menu.

South City Kitchen’s Avalon location will be open on Christmas Day, ready to serve its regular menu items including she-crab soup, Springer Mountain Farms fried chicken, fried green tomatoes and more.

Located in Virginia Highlands, this restaurant will be open from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The full dinner menu will be available, which includes grilled herb lamb, fried snapper and other seafood delights.
