It’s the time of the year for the Blind Pig Parlour Bar to transform into the Blind Elf Holiday Pop Up Bar.

The festive gathering will feature new holiday dishes and libations to celebrate the season beginning Friday, Nov. 12.

The cocktail bar will transform into a land of twinkling lights and feature snacks and drinks to usher in the season.

“Just find the black unmarked door behind Chido & Padre’s to embark on a special journey into an over-the-top winter wonderland,” an email said.

Festive drinks both warm and chilly will be served. They include the Odin and the Yule, a mix of whipped apple cider, Red Hazel whiskey and cinnamon maple syrup with nutmeg aromas, and the Blind Cherub, made with cava wine, lemon, rose water and flower petals. There’s also a selection of beer and cocktails.

Guests won’t leave with an empty stomach, either. The festive theme carries over to the snacks, which range from sweet to savory. They include roasted pork belly skewers with Georgia honey and morita chili glaze and eggnog shortbread with a creamy milk chocolate center, festive flavors and a buttery crunch.

“Had a fantastic time at the Bling Pig,” one review for The Blind Elf said in 2020. “We purchased tickets for the popup bar the week of our planned night out. We arrived about 15 minutes early and luckily we were able to be sat right away. All the staff was extremely friendly but our waiter, I believe his name was Shaun, was very attentive and personable. The food was fantastic — my personal favorite was the dates — and the drinks were very good!”
