Hundreds of skiing Santas hit the slopes for charity
The Sunday River Ski resort in Maine knows how to bring in the holiday season.
Hundreds of Santas, elves, a Christmas tree, and even a Grinch took to the slopes at New England’s top resort to spread some holiday cheer.
This year, the participants raised just over $7,000 for the River Fund, a local non-profit organization that provides scholarships, educational workshops and year-round outdoor sports programs in the western Maine community.
This is one of many events the resort will host as it prepares to kick off “Winterfest Weekend” from December 17 to December 19, 2022. During that weekend guest can enjoy live music, meet Santa, a torchlight parade and more.
