There are a ton of events keeping locals busy this weekend including the big University of Alabama versus Florida State football game at the Mercedes Benz Stadium. But one fake City of Atlanta post has given out-of-towners a not-so-warm welcome.

The satirical Facebook account was recently updated with a status aimed directly at travelers.

It read, “Be advised: People from Alabama will be here for the college football game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. If there are any altercations, we encourage you to take the higher road, as they are a much lower class of people.”

The upload has since gone viral, garnering more than 12,000 reactions and nearly 2,000 comments.

Some thought it was hilarious and returned the jabs.

This isn’t the first time the page has riled people up. Comedian Ben Palmer created it in 2016. Complete with the city emblem, it has attracted more than 100,000 followers.

Last October, the city responded to the page, accusing Palmer of using the city’s logo inappropriately. The city also said it was working to remove the “City Seal and any other information on the Facebook page that might confuse or mislead the public.”

However, Palmer continues to update it frequently, and the profile picture is only slightly different from the trademark. The phoenix from the logo now wears a hat.
