It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Cobb this weekend.

Check out these amazing, family-friendly events taking place all around town.

Santa's Arrival in Acworth. 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2. Free. The Acworth Depot, Downtown Acworth. 770-917-1234. www.acworth.org.

Start the holiday season off right by celebrating the arrival of Santa. He's coming to Acworth this Friday and will be joined by streets filled with elves, puppet shows, train rides, face painting, hot chocolate and even a live nativity. Don't forget to bring your camera to get a picture with Santa.

Join Powder Springs residents for their annual tree lighting, which takes place this Friday at the Town Square. Along with the stunning light display, visitors will also get a chance to take part in caroling, making crafts, sitting on Santa's lap and more.

Santa arrives in Downtown Kennesaw on Saturday, and will bring a whole day of family fun with him. There will be marching bands, vintage cars, snow tubing and inflatables, live entertainment and a full holiday market to shop from.
