On a same day Matt Lauer and Garrison Keillor lost their jobs over inappropriate behavior, Washington Post reporter Paul Farhi broke the news Wednesday afternoon that a CNN senior producer is also out.

Farhi tweeted that Teddy Davis, a D.C.-based senior producer for Jake Tapper's "State of the Union" program, was let go for for unspecified behavior, presumably sexual and non-consensual. He said three women had complained about Davis.

“This tweet is accurate,” Jake Tapper tweeted.

"When CNN executives were told about these complaints, they reacted swiftly and appropriately, as they should. Workplaces need to be safe and I am fully supportive of CNN's action," Tapper said.

CNN media reporter Brian Stelter received an official statement from CNN:

“A comprehensive investigation was conducted as soon as this matter was brought to our attention. The behavior attributed to Mr. Davis does not align with the standards and values of CNN and Mr. Davis is no longer with the company.”

According to Davis' LinkedIn page, he had worked at CNN since June, 2015. He said he's a Georgetown graduate from 2000 with a bachelor's degree in foreign service. Davis previously worked for ABC News where he served as the network's deputy director of political coverage.
