College football. On a five-story, high-definition screen. On the beach at Lake Lanier.

It's all happening Saturday at Lanier Islands' "Game Day Lanier" event.

"Watch your favorite teams take the field from the comfort of a beach chair set up all along our half-mile white sandy beach," officials said in a news release.

Festivities start before the noon kickoff of Georgia's game against Ole Miss, and the 3:30 p.m. Florida-Tennessee game and 7:30 p.m. South Carolina-Kentucky game are also scheduled to be aired on the giant screen.

"Everything from barbecue to burgers" will be available for purchase, and beer and cocktails will also be served. Beach volleyball, cornhole and kids' inflatables will be there too.

Regular tickets can be purchased at the gate for $15. "Gold" tickets are $40 at the gate. Click here for more information.

Lanier Islands is located at 7000 Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford.
