The Battery is selling itself as the place to be on Halloween weekend for adults, children and pets.

There will be events specifically for each over that weekend at the mixed-use complex attached to the Braves’ new SunTrust Park.

On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be Aunt Yvonne's Lil' Monster Mash — a kid-friendly Halloween dance party with DJ Yvonne Monet hosted by Home Depot at the Coca-Cola Roxy theater. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online.

The first 50 children will get a gift bag, and the first 100 children will get a pumpkin to decorate with encouragement from Home Depot tools mascots.

For adults, DJ Yvonne Monet starts spinning tunes at 9 p.m. Saturday at The Zombie Ball, hosted by Q100, inside the Roxy. Tickets are $20.

In addition to “horrifying decor” and psychic readings, there will be a costume contest; $1,000 cash prize for first place and $500 for second.

Sunday is all about the animals.

Registration for the Howl-O-Ween pet costume contests starts at noon, according to a Facebook event. The event, which is hosted in part by Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, runs until 3 p.m.

Fox Sports South’s Braves reporter Kelsey Wingert will be the emcee.

No details on prizes were given, but some of the categories are scariest, best owner/dog duo and best overall.

There will be other things going on, like a “doggie kissing booth” from Angels Among Us, a photo booth, music and dancing, face-painting and corn hole. Of course, there will also be dogs available for adoption.
