Last month, we told you that BurgerFi — which bills itself as one of the country's fastest-growing "better burger concepts" — was building a new restaurant in Lawrenceville.

Now we’re here to tell you when you can get your grubby little Gwinnettian hands on some greasy goodness.

Owner Shahravi Lakhani told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the eatery, located at 938 Duluth Highway, will open for business on Jan. 9.

BurgerFi uses "100 percent pure, all-natural beef free of growth hormones, steroids, antibiotics, chemicals and additives," according to its website. Beef hot dogs, french fries, onion rings and multiple frozen custard options are also on the menu.

It currently has five Georgia locations, including three in Atlanta, one in Alpharetta and one in Kennesaw.

The new Lawrenceville location will be in the same strip that includes recently opened Penn Station East Coast Subs and Willy's Mexicana Grill restaurants.
