'Snow Mountain' returns to Stone Mountain Park

Don't bother checking that forecast, folks — you can already bet on snow at Stone Mountain Park.

Snow Mountain — the park's annual icy offering that features tubing, snowman building and "snowball shooting" — officially opened for the 2016 season on Saturday, Nov. 19.

The activities take place on "real" snow, 360 tons of which is made daily with water drawn from the lake near the park's "Laser Lawn."
