A non-profit and a beer company want to revive a historic water tower in the Old Fourth Ward.

The National Trust for Historic Preservation and Heineken have started a fundraiser to clean up a Sweet Auburn water tower and have artists paint a mural inside that can be seen through its windows and doors. New cast iron windows and a door will also be installed.

The structure is Atlanta's oldest surviving water tower and was built as a water suppression system for the cotton compress factory next door in 1906, according to the Indiegogo campaign, which has a $15,000 goal. It is located between Auburn Avenue and Irwin Street near the Krog Street Market.

Different donation levels reap different rewards. On the low end is an art print of the tower for $15; on the high end is a pair of Bruno Mars tickets for $150.

"I really like what The Heineken Cities Project is doing for cultural and arts centers around the country, and they've put a big emphasis on my home state of Hawaii, so I was happy to support them and Indiegogo through my tour," Bruno Mars said in a statement.

Atlanta is not a stop on the singer's 24K Magic U.S. Tour, but you can select a city and make the contribution to receive the tickets. The closest show is in Charlotte on Sept. 14. The Cities Project by Heineken will award more than 2,600 pairs of tickets, which are on a first come, first serve basis.

A single ticket for Mars’s Charlotte show starts at $152 on StubHub and $206 on Ticketmaster, as of Wednesday morning.
