A jazz joint in Midtown, in the same building as the Fox Theatre, nearly failed a recent health inspection, according to a report.

Churchill Grounds scored a 70 on a health inspection on Saturday. The failing score is a 69.

Officials found heavy mold and mildew buildup on gaskets at the bar, according to the report. An inspector also noted improper hygiene practices and a cup being utilized as scoop at the bar.

While Churchill Grounds is in the same building as the Fox, it is not related to or part of the venue.
