It’s getting to be that time when not much sounds better than curling up with a book while it’s all cold outside.
So it’s pretty convenient that the Cobb County library system is holding its annual fall book sale this weekend.
You can pick books, and some DVDs, for as little as a dime and as much as $4, according to the Facebook event. Only cash or check will be accepted.
Even if you're not a reader, maybe you could pick up some books for crafting or know a friend who does like to read. Plus, all the money goes right back to fund Cobb's 16 public libraries.

The sale will run from Friday to Sunday at the Cobb County Civic Center, 548 South Marietta Pkwy. The event starts at 9 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Each day ends at 5 p.m.
Sunday is BYOB (bring your own box) day, so that means you can fill up any box for $10 or $20 depending on the types of books. The box can be any size, but you just have to be able to get it to your vehicle.
