A major Mexican restaurant chain will temporarily close four metro Atlanta locations in order to renovate this summer.

On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina will give locations in Fulton, Cobb and Gwinnett counties a remodeled look that includes wall murals, beer- and tequila-bottle chandeliers and an open layout with views into the kitchen.

The renovations will take about five days to complete, and should take place from late May to early September. Grand re-opening celebrations and ribbon cutting ceremonies with local city officials will be held when locations reopen.

The first location to get the new decor is in Buckhead. It will close Saturday at 9 p.m. and will re-open May 26.

On The Border President Ward Whitworth said the company — which has 157 restaurants in 32 states, Puerto Rico and Asia — has enjoyed being part of the Atlanta community for more than 18 years.

“And we’re even more pleased to be starting a new chapter in an ongoing story of food, fun, and friendship with authentic Mexican-food and margaritas as the centerpiece,” Whitworth said in a news release.

Here are the locations to be updated (all dates are subject to change):
