Gwinnett County's favorite rib festival returns this weekend — with a very special, Grammy-winning guest.

Lawrenceville's Rock'n Ribville festival will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday on the city lawn, located at 210 Luckie St. This year, the festivities will include a Kansas City Barbeque Society-sanctioned cooking competition and appearances from several musicians — including Kristian Bush, one-half of the celebrated country duo Sugarland.

Other acts scheduled to appear include Adam Craig, The Raelyn Nelson Band and Zach Seabaugh, who appeared on "The Voice." A specific schedule for their performances was not provided.

Attendance is free but food and beer will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the Lawrenceville Police Benevolent Fund.

The festival, which started in 2007, now draws more than 14,000 people each year, city officials said.
