Here’s what you need to know to audition for “Sunday Best”

Think you have the vocal chops to walk away the winner of Season 10 “Sunday Best?”

Auditions for the popular BET Network show’s next season will be held Feb. 15 at the House of Hope Atlanta, 4650 Flat Shoals Parkway in Decatur.

The Grammy-winning Kirk Franklin returns as host as will judges Erica Campbell, singer and host of "Get Up Mornings";  and Grammy-nominated artists Kelly Price and Jonathan McReynolds.

Registration is 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and auditions will be filmed for television. Contestants should be at least 18 years of age.

A closed casting session for select online contestants will be held on Feb. 14.

Contestants can submit their audition online and get additional audition information at BET.com/SundayBest. The final day for online submissions is 5 p.m. Feb. 10.

Performers who are auditioning in person should be prepared to sing a song from the following list:

  • "Blessed Assurance"
  • "Have Thine Own Way, Lord"
  • "His Eye is On The Sparrow"
  • "I Need Thee Every Hour"
  • "I Surrender All"
  • "It Is Well With My Soul"
  • "Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee"
  • "Love Lifted Me"
  • "Mary, Don't You Weep"
  • "Nothing But the Blood of Jesus"
  • "O Come, All Ye Faithful (O Come Let Us Adore Him)"
  • "Oh, How I Love Jesus"
  • "Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior"
  • "Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus"
  • "What A Friend We Have In Jesus"

Melvin Crispell III, a native of North Carolina, was crowned winner of Sunday Best Season 9.

Previous winners included: Crystal Aikin, Y’Anna Crawley , Le’Andria Johnson, Amber Bullock , Joshua Rogers , Tasha Page-Lockhart , Geoffrey Golden, and Dathan Thigpen.
