For the 13th year, folks will gather on Marietta Square for Veterans Day to honor those who have served.

The parade will begin at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday at Roswell Street Baptist Church, 774 Roswell St., according to the city.

It will proceed toward the Square, down Lawrence Street and is supposed to stop in Glover Park by at precisely 11:11 a.m. (You know, because Veterans Day is on 11/11.)

The grand marshal this year will be Col. Mike Varicak of the Marine Corps.
