The season of pastel colors and jelly beans approaches.

You and yours can celebrate by getting a picture with one of the most iconic rabbits — a list that includes that ever-marching drummer and one-time opera singer Bugs Bunny, in addition to Roger Rabbit, once framed for murder.

You can get a picture with the Easter Bunny in Town Center at Cobb from Feb. 24 to March 31, according to a news release from Simon malls.

Think of this as a do-over if a child didn't behave long enough for a good shot on Santa's lap a couple months ago.

Simon said families will be able to book ahead at simonbunny.com, but it appears the website isn't yet taking reservations.

Town Center said it is also offering a sensory-friendly photo shoot in partnership with the group Autism Speaks.

From 10:30 a.m. to noon on March 11 and March 18, Town Center will turn off in-mall music, stop escalators near the photo set, dim lights and shut off fountains.

They will also use a number system to avoid a line of people congregating while waiting and offer appropriate activities during the wait.

Those there for the sensory-friendly photo shoot should enter through the food court's main entrance between Belk and JCPenney, the mall said. To reserve such a session, contact the mall and ask about the "Caring Bunny" program.

There will also be a pet session with the Easter Bunny.

“The set gets an extensive cleaning following the event to remove any potential risk to allergy sufferers,” the mall said.

Pet owners can bring them on March 25 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and contact the mall to reserve a time for your animal.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution cannot speak to how jarring that experience might be for your pet rabbit.
