Get a free drink today at these metro Atlanta Starbucks locations

It’s a post-Christmas, coffee-powered miracle!

Throughout December, various Starbucks locations across the country have been hosting "pop-up cheer parties," in which customers can get free tall espresso drinks if they stop by between 1 and 2 p.m.

And today (Thursday, Dec. 29) is the day for two metro Atlanta locations:

• Gwinnett County: Mall of Georgia food court, 3333 Buford Drive, Buford, Ga. 30519
• Cobb County: 30 Whitlock Ave. NW, Marietta, Ga. 30060

The nationwide event started Friday and is being held at 100 Starbucks stores in the U.S. per day. Locations change each day and are listed here.

Customers also can visit participating Starbucks stores to receive a "cheer card" that will provide discounts on beverages, lunch items and other items.
