A doctor, a preacher, several mayors and two postmasters are buried in the Kennesaw Cemetery. And Andrew Bramlett knows about them all — along with many more.

The 11-year-old “lifelong resident of Kennesaw” will be giving a tour of the cemetery on Oct. 21, according to the Cobb Landmarks and Historical Society.

So why should you spend $20 for a tour from a kid who has been walking about a decade?

Well, Andrew is: the vice president of the Kennesaw Historical Society, an honorary member of the Cemetery Preservation Commission for the City of Kennesaw, a volunteer at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park and a special events volunteer with the Kennesaw Parks and Recreation department.

According to the city, the cemetery is a former Confederate training ground for Georgia volunteers and is where many of Kennesaw's founding fathers are buried. The earliest known burial dates back to 1863.

You can buy tickets at the gate or in advance online.
