Kennesaw has a way for you to enjoy a nice night at the park that also lets children expend energy.

The city’s parks department has announced some of its line-up for the outdoor movie series at Swift-Cantrell Park, 3140 Old 41 Highway.

First off is the Oscar-winning animated film "Coco" on May 5.

The movie will be projected onto a big inflatable screen after sunset. Folks can show up at 6 p.m. for giveaways and games. Remember: Bring a blanket or low-back chair.

Don’t bring things like pop-up tents, canopies or beach umbrellas that can obstruct the view of others.

Concessions will be available for purchase.

Parking is available inside the park and at nearby Kennesaw Elementary School.

“Moana” will be on June 2 and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” will show Oct. 13.
