In Alpharetta on Saturday, kids will be able to push buttons, flip switches and sit in the driver seats of their favorite vehicles.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. children can play with fire trucks instead of pushing their parents’ buttons.

The 19th annual “Touch-A-Truck” returns to Alpharetta this weekend at Wills Park on Aug. 19. On display will be police cruisers, fire engines, emergency vehicles, heavy-duty construction equipment, military vehicles, trucks, motorcycles, busses, entertainment and specialty cars, limousines and more.

Youngsters will be able to see, touch and climb aboard their favorite vehicle.

Also at the event, T-shirts, food and other concessions will be on sale. Alpharetta officials note that only cash will be accepted. Event admission and parking are free.
