The fine men and women of Dobbins Air Reserve Base had better like Bojangles' because there's about to be one in their backyard.

The sixth Cobb County outpost of the chicken-and-biscuit franchise will open at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The 1183 Franklin Gateway SE location is about a mile and a half away from the base.

All customers with a valid military or Lockheed Martin ID will receive a 10 percent discount, the franchise said in a news release.

When asked if proximity to the military compound was a factor, a spokesman sent this statement from franchisee Matthew Kirby: "Several factors influenced our decision to open a Bojangles' here, including the opportunity to be part of exciting growth in this community."

Here are the deals that will be going on throughout Tuesday:

The restaurant will host a ribbon-cutting on Thursday at noon with Campbell High School band and cheerleaders.
