Can’t wait until July 4 for fireworks? You can see them a day early in Lawrenceville.

The city will celebrate Independence Day on July 3 with music, a kids' activity zone and food trucks ahead of the fireworks show.

DJ Suspense, R&B Inc. and “The Voice” singer Zach Seabaugh will be performing in downtown Lawrenceville starting at 5 p.m. Spectators are welcome to bring chairs, blankets and picnics to the Lawrenceville Lawn on the Historic Downtown Square.

Fireworks will cap off the night of celebration; no specific start time has been announced, but it will be at the conclusion of the music program, according to a city release.
