As of Saturday afternoon, many reported still being en route to the march or disconnected from the crowd due to the large number of demonstrators that gathered at the National Mall.
During Gloria Steinem’s speech at the event Saturday, she claimed that Saturday’s march yielded “1,000 more buses than the inauguration.”
Several hundred of those buses were filled with Georgians looking to join the resounding voice of opposition to President Trump’s proposed policies and comments toward women and minorities.
