Zoo animal babies and their mothers at Zoo Atlanta

These Zoo Atlanta mothers love their children. In honor of Mother's Day, here are some of the zoo's moms and their offspring. Here is Chelsea, a Sumantran tiger, and one of her cubs.

Gorilla Sukari and her baby, Anaka. Anaka is the sixth surviving grandchild of Willie B.

Rory, a red kangaroo, gets a kiss from her joey, who was born last year.

Bornean orangutan Pelari was born to Miri on Sept. 14, 2013,

Giant panda mom Lun Lun and one off her twins, Mei Lun.

Western lowland gorilla Kuchi with her twins, Kali and Kazi.

Kiki, a 9-year-old African lioness, gave birth to four cubs on Nov. 19, 2013. The cubs were the second litter for Kiki.

Jill, a Schmidt’s guenon, became a mother on Nov. 30, 2013.

Orangutan mom Blaze and her baby, Pongo. Pongo celebrated his second birthday on Jan. 10.

Andazi, an eastern black rhinoceros, gave birth to Jabari, the first rhino calf born in Zoo Atlanta’s 124-year history.
