The recipe is simple, but not everyone can create a good biscuit.

When done right, a biscuit is wonderful by itself. But it’s also a treat filled with ham or chicken, slathered with jelly or covered in gravy.

We asked where you go to satisfy your biscuit craving, and the competition was close.

Tying for third place were Home Grown, in Atlanta, and Mamie’s Kitchen Biscuits, in DeKalb.

Second place was Flying Biscuit, with multiple locations throughout the metro area.

Just edging out Flying Biscuit was the 2019 winner …

Biscuits & More, in Cobb County, took the title of Best Biscuits in Atlanta.

Also making a good showing in this year’s vote were Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit in Atlanta, Maple Street Biscuit Co. in multiple locations and Matthews Cafeteria in DeKalb.
