Winner: Best rainy day activity | Best of Dunwoody The results are in for the best way to spend a rainy day in Dunwoody. With 6.7% of votes, rock climbing gym Stone Summit landed in fourth place. Next came HippoHop, a space that allows youngsters to run, jump and hop. It had 11.2% of votes to land in third place. Art classes at Spruill Center for the Arts earned 14.6% of votes and earned second place. So which activity claimed the top spot as the best way to spend a rainy day in Dunwoody? It's Nitro Zone

With rainy days continuing to crop up, it’s reasonable to want to find a way to spend time in doors without sacrificing fun with the kids.

For residents in and around Dunwoody, there are plenty of options to race a car around or go rock climbing — all without having to set foot outdoors. But voters chose one location they felt stood out from the rest.

In fourth place, was Stone Summit. The indoor rock climbing gym, which offers staff-assisted climbing rooms for kids' parties, earned 6.7% of votes.

Then came HippoHop with 11.2% of votes. The third-place holder is an indoor playground that provides youngsters up to age 10 a space to climb, run, slide and jump.

For children who desire to show their creative side, there's Spruill Center for the Arts. The private, non-profit organization that aims to foster an appreciation for visual arts earned 14.6% of votes. It landed in second place in the poll.

So which activity claimed the top spot as the best way to spend a rainy day in Dunwoody?

The distinction goes to Nitro Zone Atlanta Indoor Fun Park, which is in the nearby town of Peachtree Corners. Touted as Atlanta's largest indoor fun park, residents gave it 67.4% of votes. And there's lots to do in the space, including bowling, bazooka ball, indoor go-karts and arcade games.
