History: For 23 years, homeless and at-risk elementary and middle school children have enjoyed hiking, camping, zip-lining, building life skills and more through Wilderness Works' dynamic camps.

Did you know: Five distinct camps offer year-round activities for Wilderness campers – day, city, summer, core and field camps. Day Camp provides trips to local parks, museums and other venues while city, summer, core and field camps are in-depth overnight camps.

Its motto: Serving homeless, at-risk and very vulnerable children, Wilderness Works provides year-round enrichment, experiential education and character development.

How you can help: Wilderness Works is looking for at-risk children who could benefit from their programs, so share this information. Individuals, college students and groups can volunteer at any of the camp programs. Donors are also always welcomed.
